| The 3M™ Mobile ID ReaderThe 3M™ Mobile ID Reader provides users with a versatile hand-held device which can read and process passports, ID cards and other proof of identification that uses OCR and RF chip technology. The mobile ID reader can be used in any situation, thanks to its rugged design and battery powered operation. The device comes with an in-built keyboard and touchscreen, allowing data to be easily entered, corrected or displayed. A wide range of options is available including multiple wireless interfaces (Wifi, GSM/GPRS EDGE).
