| 3M™ RTE5000 e-ID PadThis is a multi-function document reader that provides accurate and reliable MRZ reading and includes two contact and one contactless smartcard readers. The e-ID Pad is capable of encoding and decoding data from contactless smartcards and contact cards. It is an ideal device for issuance and processing of ePassports and other identity documents. The 3M™ RTE5000 e-ID Pad will process all ICAO compliant documents in near infrared (IR) per ICAO 9303 specification Parts 1-4. Many ICAO variations are also supported. It also supports ISO 1443 Type A and B contactless ICs at 13.56 MHz and ISO 7816 Class A and AB smartcards.
